Online CV displaying my writing ‘talents’

Now this is the longest of the long shots. I’m eager to get back into tech/entertainment writing. You know, reviewing speakers, headphones, keyboards etc…
Anyone know of someone on the lookout for a keen English chap? It doesn’t need to desperately be paid work either. Though product to cover is always a big help.
Sticking to pay [...]

It had to happen. I’ve revievwed the brilliant Batman: Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360), and you can read my full views over at Pocket-Lint.

It’s phenomenally simple, even when you take into account the two game modes which either add or subtract a fantastic representation of gravity.

Oh life. How you keep me from important things. Like this daft little website.
Come tomorrow you’ll see a whole batch of brand new reviews links (check out the latest issues of PC Zone and 360 GAMER for some of my stuff) and the start of some reviews of the latest and greatest iPhone titles.
Honest. There’s [...]

And now for my second review of the day. A nice early one too of the PS3 exclusive inFamous (PS3)
You can read my full thoughts, a week before release, at Pocket-Lint.

It may be mere days untill I shift all my gaming wares to a new flat, but I can still somehow known up a few pieces of writing content. Firstly today, a review of Bionic Commando (Xbox 360)
You can read my full thoughts of this fairly impressive update to a classic genre over at Pocket-Lint.

With a variety of modes to fiddle with, a cheap price point, and a stunning amount of fun crammed in, Plants vs. Zombies is yet another PopCap classic.

The shocking truth that I’ve neglected this little site for far too long hits me like a wet kipper to the left nostril.

You can now read my full thoughts on X-Men Origins: Wolverine – Uncaged Edition (Xbox 360) over at Pocket-Lint.

Wow, two reviews in such a short space of time. This time the item in the sights of my critical eye is The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena (Xbox 360)
The Butcher Bay update is FANTASTIC. The new scenario, Assault on Dark Athena, not quite so. You can read my full thoughts at Pocket-Lint.

Here’s something a little different. A hugely expensive, but also quite brilliant, Guitar Hero peripheral from Logitech. Namely, the Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller – Premiere Edition (PS3)
You can read my full thoughts at Pocket-Lint.

Regular readers of my Twitter thingymabob will already know that you can spy my writing twice in the current issue of 360 GAMER magazine. Issue #59 to be absolutely exact. And Wanted and Ninja Blade being the subjects of my critical eye if you can’t really be arsed to read the whole thing. Which would [...]

I’ve suffered quite a few major gaming disappointments over the years thanks to this writing lark. But few come quite so close to the sheer despair felt when discovering that The Godfather II (Xbox 360) is roughly as enjoyable as a hedgehog inserted in the ear.

The first of this weeks promised reviews. Namely, The Wheelman (Xbox 360) which is already a rediculously cheap price online. A fun, if flawed title. Even if Vin Diesel looks a little too close to David Beckham on the front cover

Never ever let me redicule the idea of food poisoning. I don’t wish to go into gory details, but I’m damn happy that I can finally manage to drag myself to the PC at long last. As much as I adore bed, spending 90% of my time there isn’t always my idea of a good [...]

All you point ‘n’ click fanatics will no doubt be aware of the recent ‘Director’s Cut’ of the original Broken Sword that’s just appeared on the Nintendo Wii and DS.
Well, you can read my opinion over at Pocket-Lint.

You might recall my mention of a highly placed Google Images picture of 50 Cent on this very site dragging in thousands of visitors.
Well, as nice as the influx of visitors was, it’s not really my bag. I’ve no intention to make this a popular/money making website. And as far as I [...]

I’ll give GAME a little praise (for once). They’re actually offering a couple of decent DSi pre-order deals that might just tickle your fancy. Not that I’ve any idea what a ‘fancy’ is.
The chance to pick up DSi Black + Brain Training + Accessory Pack for only £154.99 is actually a really good deal! Only [...]

It seems a certain image on this little website is really bringing some visitors. Google now have a chrisadampickering.co.uk image in the top three in various searches for one 50 Cent, which has seen visitor numbers skyrocket.
Now all this means that, at least in the short term, a few quid may start to [...]

See, it’s not just the latest blockbusters I take a peek at. Any old mass market tripe will sneak it’s way in.

Blimey this one’s brutal. Plus it packs the kind of profanity you’d usually not expect to hear outside a Roy “Chubby” Brown DVD. Still, Madworld (Wii) is a pretty decent title. Repetative, but masses of fun. And just check out that Amazon price too. Bargain.

For those of you looking for an opinion on the upcoming GTA: Chinatown Wars (Nintendo DS) then head over to Pocket-Lint and take a peek at my offering. It’s really good. The game I mean. Not the opinion.
