Chris Pickering is an Edinburgh based freelance journalist. Focussing on video games, technology, entertainment, and football, he’s been published in a wide variety of both online and print media, including the likes of Eurogamer, Empire, 360 GAMER, PC Format, Pocket-Lint, and Mansized.
Despite his lack of relevant education, a brief dabble in video game review writing (culminating in winning a BBC online competition and being sent the sublime Elbow – Cast of Thousands album) started a whole new career.
His Human Moron site is intended to offer an easy method to discover his latest and greatest articles both on and offline, and also once again open up the darker parts of his brain and unleash the Moron himself. Hence you should expect regular (hopefully) humour filled rants on a wide variety of subjects, as well as regular links to what he has been casting his critical eye over lately.
Launched in February 2009, and created using the delightful WordPress, Chris readily admits that all this has been created using the skills of others. He might be a bit of a geek, but his html knowledge is somewhat lacking.
Always eager to bag more work, you can easily contact Chris by clicking here and giving him an email. If you wish for him to take a peek at your particular item and offer up a fully fledged review right here on this very website, again you can email Chris by clicking here. He’s willing to take on practically anything and everything. From games, books, music, film, tech, and even iPhone games.
Oh, and his middle name is ‘Adam’. Just in case you were wondering.
